This site is the official web store for The
APBA Journal. The AJ was first published in 1967, and until it
ceased hard-copy publication in 2002, it was the premier source of
networking, information exchange, and discussion of all the APBA sports
games.
One of the functions the
Journal served was as an idea forum for making the games more
enjoyable. Readers submitted innovations, theories about making
cards, and other commentaries that contributed to a huge body of
knowledge about the way the games were made. As the current owner
of The APBA Journal, I am
committed to making the historical body of work that was published in the
AJ available to everyone. The
APBA Journal Online Library is the place where you will find issues
of the AJ that have been scanned into PDF form. The goal is to have
all AJ issues available there at no charge.
To support the scanning and
other operations of The
APBA Journal, this site was established to provide a place for fans
to purchase products that will enhance their APBA playing
experience. The card sets available here have been compiled using
the collective brain power of the contributors to the Journal over the
years. Literally thousands of APBA fans have purchased AJ products
over the years; and our most popular products, APBA
Journal premium baseball card sets, have helped many fans enjoy
playing with seasons that are not available from any other source.
Please tell your APBA-playing
friends about this site. No kind of marketing that I could do
compares to the recommendation of one fan to another. Thanks for
your support of The APBA Journal!
